Hardened steel backs on all connecting rod bearings for better support of the bearing surface and more secure fixation in the bearing housing

Increased crush for improved fit and better retention in the bearing bore

No flash plating on the back of the bearings, which improves heat transfer and maximizes grip between the bearing and bearing housing

Increased eccentricity to compensate for deformation at high RPMs and to promote the formation of hydrodynamic oil films

3/4 grooved main bearings for optimized load area and improved oil flow to the connecting rod bearings

Tight and consistent wall thickness tolerances to ensure precise bearing clearances

Enlarged internal chamfers at bearing edges where required to fit crankshafts with larger fillet radii in high-performance engines
